SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

LIFE IS A CABARET

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, February 7, 2018 for a musical fundraiser featuring Broadway tunes sung by nearly 20 local performers at The Village Theater at Cherry Hill in Canton. The performers for this cabaret are all volunteers who perform in a variety of productions, and who recognize the power that music has to touch the heart and help to raise the spirits of those in need of a lift.  We are excited to share our voices and song with the public, honor Cancer survivors their family members, and provide a sense of support and entertainment. Proceeds benefitThe American Cancer Society Relay for Life Canton-Plymouth Event.  Tickets are available for $22 at cantonvillagetheater.org. The event includes the performance, dessert reception, coffee bar,  a silent auction and a cash bar — which begins when the doors open at 6pm.  This event is being offered in partnership with the Women’s Life Society, Chapter 827,  Chicks for Charity and The American Cancer Society.

CHECK OUT OUR ANNIE WORKSHOP!
Attendance of workshop is not necessary to be considered for a role at the auditions…
At this workshop you can meet our production staff and get familiar with the beautiful Village Theater. We will be discussing our vision for the show, share the set concept and have a Q and A session. Everyone is welcome to attend! Those interested will be taught a short dance combination so please dress accordingly as well as vocal guidance if needed. Scene breakdowns as well as general direction can be expected. Potential Orphans will learn “It’s a Hard Knock Life” and sing as a group. We will discuss the audition format, what is expected at auditions and share general guidelines of an audition process. This is also another opportunity to bring a potential Annie companion “Sandy” to the Theater. We look forward to meeting all of you!
